The workshop acts as a space for free co-creation. The students bring their creative ideas to the class and with my help make the work they wish. In this way they learn the particularities of the clay and get introduced to the endless possibilities of the material. The techniques are many and the journey big. From the first contact with clay one realises that the space provides an outlet from everyday stress. There is no need for perfection and the attention is given to the process. The techniques require relaxed concentration. Transforming a piece of mud into a mag to drink your coffee is magical. The enthusiasm when the kiln opens is enormous. In the space one can find a throwing wheel, a slab roller and three kilns.
